On 14 November, Hersill had the pleasure of welcoming a group of students and professors from the Master’s Degree in Data Analysis and Biomedical Technologies, part of the Biomedical Engineering Degree at Tecnun, the University of Navarra’s School of Engineering, to its headquarters in Mostoles. The visit was organised with the aim of giving students an insight into the reality of medical device design and manufacturing, which is a key part of their academic and professional training.

The day began with a talk by our president, Benjamin Herranz, in which he shared the history and values that drive us at Hersill: committing to innovation, paying attention to every detail in manufacturing, and supporting the healthcare system through our passion for medical technology. They were then joined by Oscar M. Jordan, managing director, and Carlos Martinez Jordan, R&D director, who answered the students’ questions and curiosities about our experience and our teams.

The tour of our facilities—offices, production area, and assembly—was one of the most special moments. The students were able to learn about the actual process behind the equipment we design and manufacture, some of which has been essential in clinical settings around the world.

At Hersill, we love opening our doors to new generations of engineers and sharing how healthcare technology can change lives. Thank you to Tecnun for your visit and enthusiasm!

Hersill is part of the Technologies that make a country campaign (#TecnologíasQueHacenPaís), which showcases the technological companies that develop, manufacture and innovate in Spain. Its work is actively contributing to the strengthening of the national technology industry, the creation of jobs and economic progress, while reinforcing Spain’s industrial autonomy to face the challenges of the future.
