With Christmas approaching and the year drawing to a close, at HERSILL Medical Devices it is time to pause, look back and give thanks. Once again, we take stock of a year marked by growth, international expansion and, above all, a very clear understanding of healthcare technology: always at the service of people.
2025 has been a year of momentum and openness to the world. Our participation in MEDICA 2025, one of the major international events in the sector, allowed us to share the value of Spanish healthcare technology and continue to strengthen ties with professionals and partners from different countries. Throughout the year, we were also present at the ANECORM Congress, a key event for highlighting the role of nurses who manage material resources and sharing technological solutions aimed at more efficient and sustainable healthcare management in hospitals. In addition to this, we have confirmed our presence at WHX Dubai 2026, an event we are looking forward to with enthusiasm and responsibility, which will allow us to continue bringing our solutions to new markets without losing sight of what is essential: the quality, safety and clinical usefulness of our equipment.
But if anything has defined this year, it has been commitment. A commitment that goes beyond technological innovation and translates into concrete actions. Throughout 2025, we have continued to collaborate with organisations such as the Red Cross, Banco de Alimentos, Fundación Recover and Fundación Vicente Ferrer, among others, supporting vulnerable individuals and communities both in Spain and in other countries. These initiatives reflect a sustained commitment over time and take on special significance at this time of year.
The humanisation of healthcare has been another major focus this year. At HERSILL, we believe that caring also means accompanying, which is why we have promoted projects that put people at the centre and improve their emotional experience in the hospital environment. In collaboration with the Niño Jesús University Children’s Hospital, we transformed the route between the Emergency Room and Radiology into a more pleasant and playful path for children and families, reducing stress and facilitating orientation. Likewise, together with the San Carlos Clinical Hospital, we developed a participatory project to redesign the therapy rooms of the Psychiatric Day Hospital, creating more welcoming, humane and recovery-friendly spaces.
This commitment to people is also evident within the company itself. During the annual lunch held on 19 December, we shared a very special moment as a team. At this gathering, the prize for the “HERSILL Time Capsule” competition was awarded, an initiative that invites participants to leave a positive message or symbol for the year that is ending and a wish for the coming year, promoting cohesion, creativity and a sense of belonging. The winner of this edition was Ainhoa Munoz, from the warehouse department. The same event also included an emotional tribute to Patricio Fuentes (assembly department), on the occasion of his 25 years with the company and his retirement, as well as to Maxi Rebollo, head of Assembly and Warehouse, in recognition of his 40 years of dedication and commitment to HERSILL. These moments reflect the value of the people who make HERSILL possible every day.
This spirit of teamwork and solidarity takes on special meaning at Christmas. On 23 December, we will be organising a small charity market in the HERSILL dining room, with handmade items crafted with love. All proceeds will go to the Milla 91 Foundation, Health and Education in Sierra Leone, adding a new gesture of commitment from our local community and everyday life.
Looking to the future has also been a constant theme throughout the year. We welcomed students from the Master’s Degree in Data Analysis and Biomedical Technologies of the Biomedical Engineering Degree at Tecnun (University of Navarra), who were able to learn first-hand about the design, manufacture and clinical value of our medical devices.
We also opened our doors to students from the Andel Technological Institute, sharing the experience of a family business dedicated to healthcare technology and bringing the reality of business closer to the younger generation, with the hope of inspiring vocations and transmitting values.
This entire journey has been accompanied by close and transparent communication, designed to share what we do and why we do it, reinforcing trust and our bond with society.
We wrap up the year by thanking all the people, professionals, institutions and collaborators who have been part of this journey. We face the new year with renewed enthusiasm and the same commitment as always: to continue innovating responsibly and putting healthcare technology at the service of a more humane healthcare system.
