At Hersill, from the 21h to the 22th of March, we actively participate in the 2nd ECAE-SEMES Workshops 2026, integrating our ventilation, resuscitation, oxygen therapy and rescue equipment into 6 of the more than 40 clinical simulation workshops. We collaborate with the Spanish Society of Emergency Medicine to raise training standards in out-of-hospital care and the management of critically ill patients.

- DSG for TES: supraglottic devices and essential techniques for emergency technicians, taught by the SEMES airway working group.
- Water rescue: stabilisation of patients in hostile environments, taught by the SEMES water rescue working group.
- Clinical simulation in the management of cardiac arrhythmias in emergencies: taught by staff from the arrhythmia working group.
- Simulation of cardiac arrest and near cardiac arrest situations with electrical therapy and pacemakers-RCP25: taught by the SEMES CPR working group.

During shutdown and peri-shutdown simulations, professionals will use our manual resuscitators, portable transport and emergency ventilators, portable oxygen devices such as pressure regulators, portable suction units and intervention backpacks.
These devices are essential to ensure a safe stabilization of the patient before and during their hospital transfer.
