Hersill has received a visit from approximately thirty students from the higher vocational training course in Electromedicine and Electronic Maintenance at the Benjamin Rua Secondary School in Mostoles. This activity was carried out within the framework of the ‘Family Business in the Classroom’ Programme – The Fruit of Values, promoted by the Family Business Association of Madrid (ADEFAM), with which we are associated.

Our president, Benjamin Herranz, welcomed the students and, in the showroom, explained to them the different healthcare areas where Hersill is active in medical equipment. During the course of the presentation, the young people were able to learn about the company’s development of technological solutions for healthcare professionals, with the aim of improving the quality of life of patients.

During the visit to the factory, Urbano Rebollo, director of lathes, showed them some of the keys to the production process of the different medical equipment that Hersill manufactures for the global market. He demonstrated how innovation and precision are combined at each stage of manufacture.

The objective of this training programme is to reinforce business and entrepreneurship-related content in primary school (6th grade), secondary school, Baccalaureate and Vocational Education and Training (VET). The initiative fosters direct interaction between students, their teachers and companies, thereby providing a valuable opportunity for students to gain first-hand insights into the challenges, activities and values that organisations uphold.

Hersill is fully aligned with this philosophy and is committed to enhancing the training of young people. Through these activities, the company seeks to transmit its experience and knowledge, contributing to the preparation of future professionals and awakening possible vocations in relevant areas such as engineering or technology.

For many years, Hersill has been a training partner for Vocational Training students from a variety of educational establishments, who complete internships in the company. Indeed, several of the company’s current employees have started their professional careers in one of these centres. This collaboration strengthens the connection between education and professional practice, promoting the development of talent within the sector.

Hersill is part of the Technologies that make a country campaign, which showcases the technological companies that develop, manufacture and innovate in Spain. Its work is actively contributing to the strengthening of the national technology industry, the creation of jobs and economic progress, while reinforcing Spain’s industrial autonomy to face the challenges of the future.
