The Vitae® 40 lung ventilator from Hersill, renowned for its light weight (less than 1.4 kg), ergonomics and intensive care features, now has a new ally to help it reach its full potential in any environment: a robust, waterproof and versatile carry case, designed to protect it and allow immediate use even in the most demanding conditions. With this accessory, the Vitae® 40 is always ready for action, whether in rescues, air transport, intra-hospital transfers, emergency services or home care.
The Vitae® 40 combines all ventilation modes, advanced capnography (including volumetric), wireless connectivity for real-time or remote data download and analysis, as well as specific modes for CPR and exclusive wizards (CPR wizards) in accordance with the latest ERC and AHA guidelines, all in a portable format. Its ergonomic design, with all connections aligned on the mounting axis, optimises space and facilitates mounting on walls, ceilings, rails, trolleys or carrying cases.
The new carrying case has been designed to maintain these features while protecting the equipment from tears, rain, and solar radiation. Its transparent PVC front panel offers full visibility of the screen and direct access to the keyboard, allowing the ventilator to be operated without removing it. This speeds up intervention in critical situations and ensures that the equipment is always protected and operational.

The design includes two side pockets, one of which is designed for the external battery, which can remain connected to the device via a metal eyelet at the base. In addition, it can be mounted on any surface or support, has a top handle for easy transport and buckles to reinforce the strap or shoulder strap attachment. All connections remain clear for quick access, and maintenance is minimal: simply wipe with a damp cloth to keep it in perfect condition.
This transport case is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a material that combines lightness, durability and resistance even in extreme weather conditions.
