More than 40,000 people have access to quality health care in orthopaedics and traumatology specialties at Bathallapalli Hospital, India.

This year Hersill collaborates with the Ferrer Foundation to improve the quality of life of people with physical disabilities or reduced mobility, donating 5000 euros for the equipment and materials needed for the trauma and orthopaedics unit of Bathallapalli Hospital.

The Vicente Ferrer Foundation supports impoverished communities and particularly vulnerable groups in India: children, women and people with disabilities, through the Trauma and Orthopaedic Care and Rehabilitation Services project in the districts of Anantapur and Kurnool, India.

This project benefits all persons attending the traumatology and orthopaedic department of Bathalapalli Hospital, which to date has treated a total of 44,484 persons, including outpatients (3,8891) and inpatients (800) who accessed the services of the traumatology department and 4,793) who all used the services of orthopaedic and prosthetic workshops in the form of aids and appliances, therapeutic and rehabilitation services.
