HERSILL | NEWS | UPDATES | 16 OCTOBER 2022

In 1846, specifically October 16, was a historic day for mankind and for medicine, as the dentist Thomas Morton made the first public practical demonstration of ether anesthesia for surgery.

This is how anesthesiology and anesthesia was officially born, a science that made an amazing change in medicine and put an end to the suffering associated with surgical interventions. Anesthesiology and resuscitation is a medical specialty that aims to prevent the patient from feeling pain during the operation, making him insensitive to it and protecting him from aggression before, during and after any surgical intervention.

From Hersill we wanted to join this international day because many of our products are part of the work of anesthesia professionals, such as our Genesis anesthesia station or laryngoscopes, designed to help and facilitate their work.

The Genesis anaesthesia workstation meets your most ambitious requirements. They stand out for their protective pulmonary ventilation, precision and performance, cost savings, design and ergonomics, safety and versatility.

On the other hand, at Hersill we also manufacture four different types of laryngoscopes:

• Flexiray and integrated fiber optic

• Removable optical fiber

• Conventional light

• Megaray and integrated fiber optic
